How to make Honey and Walnut Shrimps

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven at 350° Fahrenheit. Take a small bowl and mix together honey, walnuts, and salt. Spread the honey coated walnuts on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes and toss occasionally. Remove from the oven and set aside.

  • Step 2

    To prepare the honey soy sauce, take a small saucepan and heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil on low heat. Add the sliced garlic cloves and cook for about 4 minutes. Add honey and cook for about 2 minutes until they turn light brown.

  • Step 3

    Add the soy sauce and cook for about 4-5 minutes, until slightly reduced. Add lemon juice, stir, and remove from heat. Set aside.

  • Step 4

    In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil on medium flame. Add the chopped broccoli and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Wash the shrimps and peel them. Add the shrimps and cook for about 5-6 minutes until they turn pink. Pour the prepared honey soy sauce along with walnuts in the pan. Transfer the shrimps in a bowl and serve these over rice.
