JAC 10th result: Jharkhand board says matric pass percentage lowest since 2006, boys outdo girls

The Jharkhand matriculation, or class 10 results, declared on Tuesday witnessed the lowest pass percentage since 2006, with just 59.48% of over four lakh students clearing the exams this year. Of the 4,28,379 students who took the exam at 954 centres across the state, only 2,54,830 have passed, the Jharkhand Academic Council, which declared the JAC 10th result, said. “We will review the reasons of falling pass percentage,” JAC chairperson Arvind Prasad Singh said.
