Online Education Costs More, Not Less

The myth that online education courses cost less to produce and therefore save students money on tuition doesn’t hold up to scrutiny, a survey of distance education providers found. The survey, conducted by the WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies (WCET), found that most colleges charge students the same or more to study online. UGC-NET exam: Last date for applying online extended to Nov 23

In public interest, the last date for applying online for the UGC-NET examination, to be held in January next year, has been extended to November 23, the CBSE said in a statement. Similarly, the last date for submission of fee has been extended to November 24 through e-challan/debit/credit card at designated branches of Syndicate/Canara/ICICI/HDFC banks, it said. A cybersecurity researcher living in Austria who was scammed out of $500 (£375) says his money was returned after he tracked down the scammer’s family and contacted them on Facebook.
