Tired of the overly processed, questionable ingredients and high prices of packaged candies on store shelves? Me, too. That’s why I came up with this simple, three-ingredient dark chocolate bark that any foodie will appreciate.
But I didn’t choose ingredients at random. These three—dark chocolate, pistachios, and pomegranate arils—are all you need to create a healthy, mouthwatering masterpiece. Each one is loaded with antioxidants, but there are other health benefits you score, too. Dark chocolate can boost brain power, pistachios offer up healthy, unsaturated fats (not to mention they’re one of the lowest-calorie nuts), and pomegranate arils (aka the seeds) can improve your immune system. 3-Ingredient Dark Chocolate Bark
Yields 6-8 servings
- 10 ounce dark chocolate bark (60% cocoa)
- 1/2 cup Wonderful Pistachios Roasted & Salted No Shells Pistachios
- 1/2 cup POM POMS Fresh Pomegranate Arils
In a double broiler, melt chocolate until smooth. Pour chocolate onto a baking sheet lined with waxed paper. Evenly distribute chocolate using a spatula. Sprinkle pistachios and pomegranate arils over the top. Press gently into the chocolate. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until set. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days for best quality.
